Renewable Energy Systems - Outdoor Wood Boilers |
| -- Renewable Energy Systems |
| Solar, wind, hydroelectric, and hybrid systems can be designed to fit the needs of any living situation-remote homes and cabins, boats, RVs, and on-grid homes. Back-up systems can be installed in homes on the grid to run critical loads during power outages. |
|
Photovoltaic
Solar, (Photovoltaic) panels are constructed using lab-grown crystals sliced into thin wafers. They are then wired together and attached to a panel. When in contact with sunlight, they generate electricity. Solar panels can be used as a utility intertie to reduce on-grid consumption, alone for off-grid homes, or as part of a hybrid system. The modular design of solar panel arrays lends itself to expansion at a later date, so you can start with a small array and add to it later.
Wind
Micro-hydroelectric
Hydro systems can be installed where a small to medium-sized back country stream
is available. Water is collected in a small bucketed wheel which spins the
turbine to generate electricity. Special considerations should be taken into
account for freezing in winter and debris build-up. Once again, permit
applications, maintenance, and installations are more complex with hydro
systems.

| -- Site Analysis and Design |
To determine the right system for you, a site analysis needs to be done. A
survey of the site will determine which systems can be utilized, and to
determine the size of the system required based on your total energy
consumption. Some components of the site analysis are:
Forms are available for calculating generation needs based on usage. We will provide a site analysis for a $75.00 fee which includes:
This $75.00 fee will be credited to installation and/or purchases exceeding $1,000.00. A mileage fee of of $.75 per mile will be attached for sites beyond a 50-mile radius.
